A rock cross-section. A coastal tide pool. An object that has been in one place for a very long time and is entirely comfortable with that. The Side Elevation Half High is low and asymmetric, with a thick lumpy rim that undulates around the shallow smooth well like a shoreline. Creamy ivory inside, sandy golden-tan outside and along the rim face. It wants very little in it, one thing, placed well. Handmade in Egypt.
The most minimal piece in the Seaside Collection, and possibly the most powerful.
