Seaside - Rectangular Tray - Ivory White

Some things look carved by time. This tray has that quality, a wide, shallow well of ivory-cream satin glaze bordered by edges that feel eroded, torn, barnacle-encrusted in the most deliberate way. In warm sandy tan, each ridge and rough protrusion holds shadow. Set it on a table and it becomes the table: the surface everything else arranges itself around.
