The Branch Tray's elongated form, one end slightly lifted, the interior running in a concave line like a channel carved by water, makes it less a tray and more a still life in itself. Sandy tan outside, smooth ivory-cream within. Place olives along its length and it becomes ritual. Leave it bare and it becomes sculpture.
