A bowl that remembers the reef. The exterior is covered in a dense, porous, sea-sponge texture, dimpled and raw like pumice pulled from the shore. Inside, a warm golden-honey glaze pools and glows, luminous and smooth against all that roughness. The rim is frilled and scalloped, pinched by hand into an irregular decorative edge that catches light differently at every turn. Fill it with mussels in broth. Pile it with lemons. Or leave it empty and let the golden interior do the talking.
